    DISCOVER! APAYAO RIVER!

              Let's travel and discover! It was our first time to visit Apayao River with some of my classmates. We ask some questions to our tourist guide about the Apayao River .

       

              We can found in the Island of Luzon in the Apayao Province of the Philippines the one of the famous,unique,and cleanest river which is the Apayao River . https://mapcarta.com/28376850/Map

         

               The river is picturesque through much of it's length, and features a number of waterfalls and other features as it runs  through the center of the province. River passes through two regions :the Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR)  and the Cagayan Valley Region. The powerful river originates from a vast natural watershed located at the western side of the Cordilleran Mountain Range and travels through the center of Apayao, passing through the towns of Calanasan, Kabugao, Luna, Pudtol, Flora, and Conner until it reaches the coastal town of Abulug in Cagayan. At that point, the river meets the Pacific Ocean.

               Apayao River is one of the largest river in the Philippines, they called it as "one of the cleanest river in the country ". It is a protected shelter or given shelter to a wide variety of fish and various types of wildlife. Virgin forest consisting of old hardwood trees are growing on it's banks. Along with different type of wildlife, the indigenous Isneg people inhabit the forested banks of the river,  it's tributaries, and these villagers subsist on the bounty of the river.

               Here are the most tourist attractions in the province of Apayao are in some way related to the river. The Turod View Deck, Swan Hilltop View, and Lada pond situated along the rivers adjoining areas.

 

              There's also a number of waterfalls of different heights that joins the river. In Apayao river we can see the beautiful view of mountains, unspoiled beauty of Agamatan National Park, and Wildlife Sanctuary which is located close to the town of Calanasan. Surprising views of the river and the surrounding area may be seen from the Swan Hilltop View and Turod View Deck, the Lada Pond is also found by the river.

               It can be traversed by motorboats which are available for hire. During our tour, we saw a views of stunning waterfalls that spill into the Apayao river. For adventurers, this huge river is perfect spot for whitewater rirting.

          Ang misteryosong kwento ng Apayao River. "totoo nga ba ang kwento o sabi sabi tungkol sa sirena?

          Sa aming pamamasyal habang kami ay nag lalakad, may narinig kaming may SIRENA daw ang Apayao river. Kaya kami naman ai nag kalap ng impormasyon tungkol sa sirena na nagbabalot ng takot sa ibang residente ng Kabugao.

           Noong 2008 ,buwan ng Pebrero may nangyari na isang insidente. Isang babae ang nagngangalan ng Yolanda Paranan na nakatira sa isang baryo ng Kabugao. Pista noon sa Kabugao habang nagpaparada sina Yolanda at ang kanyang mga kamag aral,  napahinto si Yolanda sa kanyang paglalakad noong napansin niya sa isang banda ng ilog na may isang napakagandang babae sa tabi ng malaking bato. Bigla na lang natulala si Yolanda at dahan dahan na naglakad papunta sa babae. Noong malapit na si Yolanda napansin ng kanyang mga kamag aral na nawawala ito. Agad silang tumawag ng tulong sa mga tao at sa barangay officials upang hanapin si Yolanda.

             123456789101112131415 pagkalipas ng ilang minuto nahanap na nila si Yolanda at hirap silang iahon ito sa tubig. Nagdesisyon ang mga tao na tumawag ng pastora. Pagdating na pagdating ng pastora. Nanalangin ng taimtim ito at pagkatapos bigla na lang nilang nahila si Yolanda mula sa ilog.

             Nawalan ng malay si Yolanda at makalipas ang ilang oras siya ay nagising at sinabing .May tumawag sakanya na isang SIRENA at gusto siya nitong kunin ngunit lumalaban si Yolanda sa kanyang utak kaya hindi niya ito nakuha.

             Mula noon doble ingat na ang mga residente sa tuwing sila ay pumupunta sa Apayao river.
